The Coral light design is based on the geometry of a polyhedra. The intricate form is made from just one single component, repeated 60 times.
Originally designed purely as an experiment, it only became a lighting design later, when David tried putting a bulb inside it. This was a pivotal moment. What followed was a whole new direction in exploring lighting structures made from minimal shell-like forms, which also create interesting shadows at night-time.
The Coral is often placed in living rooms, entrance voids, bedrooms, etc. Depending on your space - we can help to advise on an appropriate size.
Coral pendants are designed to be assembled at home - and come complete with 2m white flex, ceiling rose, bulb holder and clear assembly instructions. There are also instructional videos available to help. (A globe is not supplied as standard).
If requested, we can assemble it for you (at $50 per pendant) and can also supply a range of globe options.
