The "Ulu" is the Tahitian name for the breadfruit tree. The shape of the Ulu pendant was inspired by the bold leaves of this tree. The tree produces a delicious large round fruit which David and his family loved to eat, when they lived there.
Larger Ulu pendants work well in higher spaces such as entrance voids, and staircases. The smaller half Ulus are very versatile and are often placed in lounge rooms and bedrooms. Depending on your space, we can suggest an appropriate size.
Designed and manufactured in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
Assembly: Ulu pendants are designed to be assembled at home - and come complete with 2m white flex, a ceiling rose, a bulb holder and clear assembly instructions. There are also instructional videos available to help. (A globe is not supplied as standard).
